Job Advert Summary | Rand Water is currently looking for Human Resources Information Systems officers to maintain and provide accurate data intelligence (i.e. site information and statistics) to the site management for decision making, planning operational activities and research purposes. HUMAN |
Minimum Requirements | • Grade 12 or equivalent • A national recognised qualification in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources or Payroll. • Computer literate (SAP and MS Office, especially Excel) • 3 – 5 years’ proven experience functioning in a Human Resource Information Systems environment |
Primary Duties | Maintain an HR Information Systems’ Business or Operational Plan on site to inform data intelligence services needed to facilitate decision making by site management and the HR Department Develop metrics for analysing data for purposes of producing statistical reports Conduct monthly data quality assurance on SAP (such as recording leave captured in the system, updating organisational structure information, etc) & audits against Corporate HR reports Ensure that accurate statistical database of site employees is maintained and available at all times. Drawing exception reports and distributes accurate monthly statistical reports to line managers Conduct trend analysis on absenteeism, age analysis and long service, party issues, and labour turnover or any information impacting on this particular area of work Validating information utilised for personnel requisitions, engagement of new employees, staff movements, terminations and other conditions of service or employment Handle all personnel related information and transactions on site in conjunction with other sections or departments interfacing with the Human Resources Information Systems Maintain an effective HR record management system for personnel related information and transactions Effectively implement and maintain the SAP system on site, including plans to roll – out initiatives aimed at ensuring full staff utilisation of SAP related programs across the site Ensure full compliance to ISO functional requirements in own area of work and prepare for Internal Audits, ISO and SABS audits to ensure no repeat audit findings on HR functional activities or transactions and that all non – conformance’s are cleared within stipulated time frames |
