Job Purpose

To provide quality and accurate business administrative support services to internal and external stakeholders enabling Nedbank to achieve its business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capturing of incoming/outward payments in Flexcube.
  • Capturing of incoming/outward payments in SWIFT.
  • Understand nature of transactions from an Exchange Control perspective thereby ensuring that transactions aligns with current Rules Regulations and Policy
  • Attending to enquiries/queries
  • EXCON ruling check/authority
  • Filing

Abilities Requirements

  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills and be able to converse with a wide audience.
  • Experience and comprehend in interpreting Exchange Control Rules and Regulations and to apply them to transactions and situations emanating from the Internal and External customer base
  • Previous working experience giving rise to an understanding of the Balance of Payment reporting system and related requirements
  • Must have a high degree of self-confidence and a pleasant personality
  • Customer service driven
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ad-hoc duties/tasks

Preferred Qualification

  • Diploma/Degree: Financial Management / Business Administration / Banking
  • Two (2) years banking/financial industry experience
  • Experience in foreign exchange will be an added advantage
