Job Objectives | Your role as Assistant DC Manager includes:1. OPERATING RESULTS OF DELEGATED TASKS ACCOUNTABLE FOR • Receiving, bulk storage, and dispatch process performance • Quality • Productivity • Inventory • Systems2. MANAGEMENT • Weekly and daily operational work planning, priority setting and scheduling • Operational performance monitoring • Input into Operations structures & roles • Operational process improvement, process policies, procedures and performance standards • Manage interfaces with Planning, Replenishment, Facilities, and Transport • Excercise accurate stock management • Resolve escalated operational issues3. LEADERSHIP • Staffing decisions • Developing others • Individual performance management • Motivated and disciplined team • Change management |
Qualifications | • Relevant qualification in Logistics or Retail Management |
Experience | • At least three to five years experience in DC Operations or Supply Chain management |
Knowledge and Skills | Knowledge • Supply Chain principles, specifically DC Operational management processes and procedures.Skills • Working knowledge of Warehouse systems • Computer literacy |
