VACANCY // Front Offices Administrator & Reservationist (Couple or single positions)

Well established five (5) Star Lodge in Bela-Bela Limpopo requires the services of a Front Offices Administrator & Reservationist

To supervise and control the reception, registration and room allocation of all guests. To host guests in Reception or Public areas as and when needed. Administrative duties as allocated by the Front Office manager;
To ensure that reception and telephone are always attended to;
To register the guest, ensuring that the necessary details are obtained, i.e. name in full, address, whether company or private booking, special rate, allowances, VIP, charge details, nationality, Dietary Requirements, passport number, etc;
To liaise with reservations on all accommodation and pre-allocations keeping in mind VIP guests;
To ensure co-operation and helpfulness with all front office and housekeeping departments;
To ensure that the guest list register (day sheet) is updated regularly. Ensure copies are send to appropriate departments;
To liaise closely with the housekeeping department on check outs, moves, etc;
Follow all check out and payment procedures;
To report any faults or defects to the maintenance department;
To liaise or alert porter if the guest’s luggage is to be taken to his/her tent and the key issued;
To ensure that all departments, particularly restaurants, are notified of the tariff entitlements;
Do reports and admin as required by Front Office Manager;
To assist with curio shop sales & stock-takes;
To assist with printing & stationery stock-takes;
To ensure that reception is always tidy;


Applicants must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a related field;
Matric is a minimum requirement;
An administration qualification is required;
Proven track record & experience is a must;
To start immediately;


Salary will be discussed during interview;
Benefits include single accommodation, meals whilst on duty;
13% contributions towards company Provident Fund;
Medical Aid (optional) of which company contributes 50%;
