Job Advert Summary	TB HIV Care, in existence since 1929, is an internationally recognised non-profit organisation. We provide health care services throughout South Africa to both the general population and communities at increased risk for HIV and TB, including adolescent girls and young women, inmates in correctional centres, sex workers and people who use drugs. To provide data capturing, data management and general administrative duties in an office and/or facility based capacity. To support the capturing, verification, collation and reporting of data, with a specific focus on HIV Testing, Reach (Layered Services), Sexual Reproductive Health Services and PrEP Data. Ensure that all related data is accurate, the relevant databases up to date at all times, maintaining all relevant e-filing and hard copy filing systems per indicator, and also ensuring reports are submitted timeously. Provide support to Linkage Officers by means of checking online databases and liaising with supporting health facilities to ensure successful referral pathways.
Minimum Requirements	• Grade 12 • Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation or Tertiary qualification will be an added advantage • Trained on PHCIS software and/or previous experience with TIER.Net data capturing and reporting (and/or NHLS Labtrack) • Strong knowledge of HIV/AIDS and PrEP • Experience in data collection and capturing • Trained on capturing NDOH PrEP Register(s) • Two (2) years’ experience in working with DoH data/M&E systems (from patient- record level to DHIS level) • Microsoft: Word, Excel and Powerpoint • Proficiency in English and at least one local languages • Valid driver’s license
Duties and Responsibilities	• Report to the M&E Officer on all aspects of activities and key performance areas • To support and effectively communicate with facility-based THC staff to provide all related data when required • Interact with colleagues and management to ensure fulfillment of project objectives • Interact with THC staff to capture relevant subject-related information • Collation of data received from both facility-based and Mobile teams, and ensuring that the relevant databases are up to date at all times • Filing and administrative duties as required • Address all challenges and human errors with data capturing and reporting • Ensure resolution and follow ups are performed on all discrepancies • Assist with Implementing and executing plans for improving data quality, including data quality assessments at facility level • Provide technical support to interventionists with regards to the Mobile Devices. • Ensure that weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports are submitted timeously • Ensure the accurate and timely development and submission of all reports required by different interventionists.
