Requirements :

  • A 3-year National Diploma in Logistics/Purchasing/Financial Accounting/Internal Auditing or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification with 1 – 2 years’ experience/ or Grade 12 qualification with 3 – 5 years’ experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management. Knowledge of PFMA and Treasury Regulations pertaining to public service administration, specifically: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Framework. Good planning, administration and organizing skills. Computer literacy – MS Excel (Intermediate or Advanced) and knowledge of programs in MS Word, Outlook and Power Point. Be willing to work extended hours where necessary. Good written and verbal communication skills. Be able to work under pressure and work in a team environment.

Duties :

  • Compile specifications for each competitive bid and quotations. Ensure that all bids are drafted in an unbiased manner and fully comply with relevant legislation. Compile data for market research. Maintain records of all bids advertised and ensure availability of all bid documents. Ensure each competitive bid is in accordance with the stipulated criteria as per the bid document. Provide administrative and secretariat support to BSC and BEC. Render administrative support to the line function managers and other employees in the performance of their SCM responsibilities. Keep all records of demand management plans of all business units. Facilitate procurement meetings and develop project implementation plans. Write procurement reports.

Criteria Questions
