Job DescriptionRCL FOODS is looking for an Admin Clerk to join our RCL FOODS Specialty team! An organized individual strong on Admin with a professional approach that will provide effective support to the Food Partners Operations and Training teams within our Group Functions Division.
Minimum Requirements• Minimum of Grade 12 • Minimum 2 years relevant experience preferably in a unionized food processing plant and FMCG Production • Expected to be computer literate • Sound decision making skills. • Assertiveness and self confidence • A result driven self-starter. • Ability to work under pressure. • Must have Excel Skills Office administration Diploma would be an advantage
Duties & ResponsibilitiesData Collection, Consolidation and Reporting • Collect and enter production data hourly to generate morning production reports for the start-ups and meetings. • Compile a daily summary report (of the previous day’s data) for managers. • Compile daily unaccountable figures and percentages. • Ensure availability is updated on hourly bases • Monitor and report on stock exceptions from factory report. • Compile data and reporting on production ‘giveaways’ per department. • Update the daily production department report for the weekly and monthly KPI’s. • Monitor and report on department performance against target strike rates. • Record oil readings. • Compile UPH report, UPH Forecast, QSR report and other applicable data and submit to senior process leaders and production manager. • Update the waste tracker on daily bases on the intranet • Capture all the necessary requisitions and daily reports such as labour requests, actual vs produced reports, over-massing, HR vs Actual attendance report, etc • On every Monday day shift, send a consolidated view on volumes, UPH, oil recon and waste (BOM exploded) to the production manager. • Look at the Top 10 items and advise on deviations • Update weekly unaccounted for figure and percentage to the production manager • Report on stock carry over / rolled over stock • Generate a breakdown report and send update on reported breakdowns to the production manager. • Facilitate stock count WIP tool • Updating of overpassing tracker • Generating bestime reports daily and communicate to the team- Analysis and reporting concerns to Snr PL’s • Compiling labor request for weekdays and weekends timeously and getting approvals • Monitoring overtime / Over 40hrs approvals actioned • Generating workflows • Labor/UPH/Forecast • Roll over & QSR – weekly reports to commercial • Adhoc tasks
