REQUIREMENTS : A Bachelor’s degree or an appropriate recognised 3 year National Diploma in
Human Resource or relevant 3 year qualification with minimum of 3 years
relevant experience in HR environment and/or Grade 12 plus 5-10 years
relevant experience in HR. Good interpersonal Skills, Supervisory Skills in
PILIR/LEAVE management, Customer relations, Self-discipline and
Confidentiality as the attributes/values required, Excellent Communication
Skills (verbal and written) Computer Literacy Skills, MS Excel, MS Word, MS
Outlook (with certificates), Problem solving Skills, Ability to work in a team and
Independently, Willingness to work after hours when needed. Knowledge of
Public Service Regulations, Policies and Procedures within HR in the Public
Sector. Knowledge of Persal. A valid driver’s licence.


DUTIES : Manage Incapacity leave, assist in the implementation of retention and
placement strategies of the College. Orientate new staff of the relevant Policies
and Prescripts in the Public Sector to ensure efficient compliance thereof.
Monitor, Manage and control the Post Establishment relating to monthly
Payroll, monthly updating of (Compensation of Employees) COE spreadsheet.
Render an effective Human Resource advisory service to personnel and
students, Comply with the Performance Management and Development
System (Contracting, Quarterly Reviews and Final Assessment) for personnel
and students. Assist in coordination of Work Skills Plan.
