Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate with 2 years relevant experience in switchboard or call center or client information services environment. Qualification in Office Administration will be an added advantage Proof of computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.). Customer services certificate. Knowledge of telephone management systems.

Good telephone etiquette and excellent computer skills. Good communication (verbal & written), organizational & problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure. Sound interpersonal relations and conflict management skills. Understanding of legislative frameworks in Public services e.g. Public service Good code of conduct, Batho Pele principles, Public service Act. 

Duties
Develop and maintain a good image of the Reception area and the college. Manage all incoming and outgoing calls and transfer them to the relevant departments efficiently. Receive messages and convey them to relevant office/person. Attend to visitors/clients and ensure they reach the relevant offices or work station.

Provide reliable and relevant information to clients and deal with enquiries. Submit reports and attend meetings. Report all faults of equipment to the supervisor. Ensure confidentiality of all communication and documents. Handle all other client information tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Adhere to the Code of Conduct.

The successful candidate will be subjected to Pre-employment medical surveillance conducted by an Occupational Health Nurse, security screening and vetting process.
