Requirements
Grade10 (Std 8) No experience required.

COMPETENCIES: Basic Knowledge of norms and standards, Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993 and Knowledge of Maintenance tools. Regulations. Skills-Ability to utilize maintenance tools.Ā 

Duties
Assist with recording boiler readings. Trim coal and remove ash from grit arrestor. Clean the boiler, boiler house and the surrounding environment. Maintain ash trolleys regularly. Apply chemicals and salt to the brine tank as prescribed. Clean the brine tank and water filter. Proper usage of protective clothing. (Self/ Visitors). Identify and report safety hazards. Dust and clean the boilers, boiler house, coal bunker area, chemical tanks / brine tank and window.Ā Ā
