Requirements
Abet level 4 or Grade 10. Five (5) years’ experience as a cleaner or minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a cleaning supervisor. Basic literacy and numerical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and write. To have a good interpersonal skills. Must be able to work shifts and night duty. 

Duties
Overseeing work activities of cleaners within the hospital environment. Establish / put in place cleaning schedules. Assigns cleaners to different duties / roles. Maintain and submit reports regarding cleaners, equipment, cleaning material. Manage the process of cleaning, stripping of floors, boardrooms, offices, toilets, walls, windows, doors and any request for cleaning assistance. Address cleaning department staff issues, any complaints from wards and other departments related to cleaning matters.

Successful candidates will be subjected to OHS medical surveillance as required by HBA regulations within the OHS Act 85 of 1993 and security clearance check with South African Police Services or other relevant state agencies, reference check and verification of qualifications will be conducted.
