Duties and responsibilities: Manage sectional assessment plans. Adding and removing students at the beginning and end of an academic period. Responding to student enquiries concerning academic and technical problems. Developing and Loading online subjects’ modules. Sectional quality assurance. Development and Moderation of assessments. Coordinating and supervising eTutors in section. Online teaching for allocated subjects.

Chief Education Specialist
Title:                                       Campus Manager (PL 5)

  • A recognized Teaching Qualification (transcript must be attached) and SACE registration, with at least 5 years management level (PL3).
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Preference will be given to the person with TVET experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for general and administration of the campus Academic Curriculum Development.
  • Manage the overall operations of the campus and ensure that the campus teaching and learning takes place.
  • Manage students’ academic performance and that of lectures and administrative staff at the campus.
  • Responsible for managing the human resources, finance and infrastructure activities of the campus.
  • Responsible for up-liftment of the morale, wellbeing and care of personnel.
  • Responsible for effective implementation of DHET policies and to realize the objective of TVET.
  • Provide support, guidance and mentorship to all managers of staff under their span of control.
  • To coordinate and oversee student activities as well as organize events, often with the help of student support unit.
  • To organize the staff induction day, usually three days prior to the students arrival.
  • To provide superlative customer care catering to customer’s needs.
  • To create positive and enthusiastic team spirit and maintain motivation and staff rapport effectively.
  • To coordinate cordial and transparent communication between the campuses, client, service providers and Head Office.
  • To control the expenses budget, deal with petty cash according to Head Office procedures and maintain accurate accounting records and receipts.

Senior Education Specialist (SES)

Job Requirements

  • Professional teachers qualification where applicable (Transcript must be attached).
  • 3 to 5 years minimum experience in teaching

Main function

  • Oversee the development of division in the college
  • Supporting College and rendering professional assistance in capacity building related to learning, teaching and assessment of division subjects in all levels
  • Co-ordination of Curriculum and Assessment structures for your division
  • Co-ordination of the development of learning materials, development of Performance Assessment Tasks and Assessment Tasks

Main duties – Serve in the campus management

  • The overall management of the division which includes the implementation of the National Policy on the Conduct, Administration and Management of Assessment of NCV (and NATED programmes when necessary)
  • Guide, support, monitor and assess the performance of lecturing staff
  • Manage the work distribution and timetables for the division
  • Ensure quality education in the field and adherence to college and Subject policies
  • Manage examination related matters
  • Assist with the financial planning and control of the division
  • Assist with lecturing duties as required
  • Establish control and planning
  • Gather division information and compile report for campus management

Lecturer (PL 1) – Report 191

Prepare lesson plans and lecturer students in compliance with the College Annual Academic Plan, the Campus timetable and the College Quality Management System. Assess students, maintain assessment records and capture marks electronically in compliance with the College’s policies and procedures. Create a conducive classroom environment and ensure efficient classroom management and discipline of student’s. Report to the Senior Lecturer and liaise with the Student Support Officers in providing support interventions to students. Distribute textbooks and student packs to students and maintain the necessary records. Manage and monitor student attendance, and organize job placement and excursions for students.

Job Requirements

  • N6 Marketing, HR, Management Assistant and Financial Management qualification will be added as an advantage

Key Performance Areas

  • Provides student success services to students and potential students of the College; including, but not limited to career planning, academic advising, assistance with registration, transfer information, placement information, student activities, and recruiting;
  • Assists students in planning educational programs compatible with their interests, needs, and abilities;
  • Assists instructors with follow-up of students who have been notified through the Early Alert System for excessive absences, unsatisfactory grades, etc.; advise and work with students who have been notified through the Early Alert System;
  • Assists disadvantaged, racially and culturally diverse first generation prospective students to adjust to and succeed in college;
  • Assists with student recruitment, student activities, and linkages for assistance with support services;
  • Assists with orientation programs and/or classes;
  • Assists students in applying for financial aid;
  • Assists students in transferring to four-year colleges/universities;
  • Registers students for classes and maintains degree plans;
  • Assists with recruiting, training, matching and monitoring mentors and peer tutors;
  • Prepares documents, reports, contracts and routine correspondence; • Maintains confidentiality of information exposed to in the course of business regarding students, supervisors or other employees;
  • Contributes to a safe educational and working environment by participating in all drills and training and being prepared to take action should a health or safety emergency occur;
  • Requires the kind of teamwork, supervision, and personal interaction, that cannot be had in a home office situation; therefore, regular and predictable on-site attendance is a job requirement;

Senior Admin Officer

Job Requirements:

  • N6/Diploma Marketing/Public Management / Business Management will serve as an advantage
  • At least 1 years’ experience.

  • Advanced computer literacy in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Web update and Photoshop.

Key Performance Areas

  • Smooth Running of Daily Bookshop Transactions
  • To undertake the accurate processing of sales of bookshop merchandise
  • To accurately undertake the check of daily floats and reconciliation of the daily takings
  • To ensure the security of stock, keys and cash, maintaining continual visual surveillance at all at all times, reporting any event of or intention to theft/vandalism/malicious damage or violence to the Duty Manager immediately
  • To undertake administrative and clerical duties for the efficient running of the Bookshop, including, maintaining accurate documentation relating to customer orders, accounts, stock orders, stock returns, Welcoming Environment
  • Provide excellent customer service, supplying visitors with information and advice in relation to the bookshop’s services, answering enquiries in person, by phone or in writing.
  • To undertake customer service activities including assisting customers with the selection and location of books
  • To receive requests for special orders and contact customers regarding arrival or delay; convey information regarding special orders to buyers
  • To assist in the preparation of author/artist receptions and other promotions as directed
  • To maintain the tidiness and order of all stock ensuring that strict alphabetical order is adhered to in order that stock is easily accessible at all times. In conjunction with the bookshop management team to create attractive and appropriate stock displays.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
  • Processes customer/company and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  • Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
  • Tests customer/company and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains a clean working environment for college employees by thoroughly cleaning designated office areas.
  • Keeps premises acceptably clean at all times by continually inspecting and tidying up office areas.
  • Performs general cleaning in and around the building to ensure upkeep. Reports damages to equipment and building to Human Resource Specialist for purposes of maintenance.
  • Undertakes thorough cleaning of the office areas seasonally to maintain hygienic conditions.
  • Assists to carry files from the storerooms as and when required.
  • Cleans the fridge to maintain proper hygiene.
  • Washes dishes and cleans kitchen to maintain hygienic conditions.
  • Prepares refreshments for meetings and visitors at stipulated times.
  • Reports damages / loss of kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils to Human Resource Specialist.
  • Thoroughly cleans toilets and wash basins utilising cleaning material each morning
  • Inspects and tidies up restrooms throughout the day to prevent unsanitary conditions.
  • Makes available sufficient supplies in the restrooms by constantly checking and refilling dispensers.
  • Makes sure that all soap and toilet paper dispensers are in working order

  • Liaising with the Chair to plan meetings.
  • Receiving agenda items from committee members.
  • Circulating agendas and reports.
  • Taking minutes (unless there is a minute’s secretary).
  • Circulating approved minutes.
  • Checking that agreed actions are carried out.
  • Responding to all committee correspondence.
  • Filing all committee correspondence received and copies of replies sent.
  • Keeping a record of any of the organisation’s publications (e.g. leaflets or newsletters) and reporting the activities of the organisation and future programmes to members, the press and the public (unless there is an Information or Publicity Officer).
  • Preparing a report of the organisation’s activities for the year, for the Annual General Meeting.
