Purpose of the JobTo provide administrative and secretarial support to the Board and Management Committees of Umgeni Water and its subsidiaries in support of their effective operational and legal functioning, as directed form time to time.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide secretarial/ administrative support to Board Committee and Management Meetings * Manage Records of Committees * General functional administration.
Minimum Qualification, Knowlege & SkillsMinimum Qualifications: Matric with National Diploma in Administrative / Secretarial Studies (NQF 6) * CIS qualification will be an added advantage * An unendorsed Code 08/ EB Driver’s Licence. Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience at an Executive Secretarial role or Board administration. Knowledge and Skills: The candidate we are looking for must have Coordination and administration skills * Proficiency in written and verbal communication * Advanced typing, minutes-taking, editing and proofreading skills * Advanced end – user computing skills in MS Office * Ability to manage detailed filing and archiving systems * Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of corporate governance frameworks applicable to Umgeni Water environment * analytical and Interpersonal skills * Analytical Ability and Attention to detail * Systematic, organized, high energy and result driven * Act with Integrity * Customer/ Client Focus.
