MAIN PURPOSE OF THE
JOB

To develop (plan, organise and generate) and publish content for a wide
range of digital communication channels not limited to websites, blogs,
and social networks to enhance and strengthen Seda’s brand and
reputation in the market.


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

 Develop and publish content for a wide range of digital communication
channels e.g. websites, blogs, social networks etc.
 Manage digital communication campaigns and day-to-day publishing of
content.
 Advocate Seda brand in digital communication spaces.
 Monitor and evaluate impact of Seda’s digital communication activities
in the market.
 Copywriting for all content published in digital communication
channels.


REQUIRED MINIMUM
EDUCATION

 Matric (NQF Level 4) plus National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public
Relations or Journalism or Marketing or Communications studies.
 Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Relations or Journalism or
Marketing or Communications studies as added advantage.


REQUIRED WORK
EXPERIENCE

4-6 years working experience managing social media accounts and a
proven track record writing copy in a public or private environment.
Able to demonstrate:
 Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media
platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.)
 Experience in digital communication channels e.g. websites, blogs,
and social networks in corporate environment. .
 Ability to keep abreast of the latest industry best practices and trends
to promote organisational brand.
 Experience in sourcing, creating and managing content and publishing.
 Knowledge of general marketing principles and tools.
 Knowledge of search engine optimisation.
 Ability to write good, clear copy in a variety of styles with accurate
spelling and grammar.


INHERENT JOB
REQUIREMENT

 A valid South African driver’s license
 Able to travel and work irregular hours including weekends and
public holidays.
